The 2021 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is brilliant, wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, summer fruit compote, sweet spices, licorice, peony and coniferous forest floor. Full-bodied, ample and layered, it's fleshy and textural, its satiny attack segueing into a deep, seamless mid-palate and a perfumed, penetrating finish.

The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is brilliant, unwinding to reveal beautifully pure aromas of cherries, red berries, rose petals, orange zest and vanilla pod. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a deep core of vibrant fruit, lively acids and a youthfully tightly wound profile, it concludes with a long, perfumed finish.

The 2019 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is performing superbly in bottle, soaring from the glass with scents of cherries, red berries, rose petals, orange peel and exotic spices. Full-bodied, ample and sensual, it's seamless and complete, with a velvety attack that segues into a vibrant core of fruit, concluding with a long, perfumed finish.

Dujac's 2018 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is showing especially well, unwinding in the glass with scents of rose petals, sweet red berries, raw cocoa, spices and blood orange. Full-bodied, layered and lively, with an ample core of beautifully pure fruit and velvety structuring tannins, it's a concentrated but precise Clos Saint-Denis that's built for the long haul.

Soaring from the glass with aromas of raspberries, cherries and blood orange mingled with nuances of peony, raw cocoa, cinnamon and cedar wood, Dujac's 2017 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, its deep core of elegantly concentrated fruit framed by supple and powdery tannins and underpinned by succulent acids. Long, perfumed and defined, this was showing very well indeed from bottle.
