This Coteaux du Layon-Chaume is one of the rare '96s from Anjou to exhibit any gold in its color. Offering a honeyed, herbal tea and candied grapefruit nose, this wine's unctuous personality is filled with quince jelly, marzipan and a driving lemony acidity. Fabulous to drink today, it will evolve over the next 15 years. Drink it between now and 2012.No known importer.
