Ponte de Boga’s 2009 Blanco de Blancos is a blend of 89% Godello and 11% Albarino, most of which was aged in tank for 4 months on the lees while the remainder was fermented in barrel and aged for 12 months. It displays excellent minerality, savory white fruits, and baking spices. Succulent, round, and concentrated, in the glass melon and citrus flavors take a lead role. This stylish effort should drink well for another 3-4 years.
