Giving a very deep garnet-purple color, the 2008 Bobbie Burns Shiraz provides aromas of warm plums, baked blackberry, cinnamon, cloves and a whiff of thyme. The palate is packed with juicy plum and berry fruit flavors complemented by soft tannins and high refreshing acidity, finishing long. Drinking perfectly now, this wine should keep through 2015. These fortified wines are all bottled to drink now.
