The 2015 Shiraz is plummy on the nose, with hints of dusty earth and anise that suggest ripe fruit. But on the palate, this medium-bodied wine is crisp and tart, even wiry in style, with acid bones that are a bit too apparent for the fruit and a firm, dusty finish. It might improve over the next few years, but I don't see this Shiraz being a long-term proposition.
