The 2005 Finca Rableros is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Tempranillo aged for 7 months in French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it offers an enticing bouquet of cedar, spice box, black raspberry, and black cherry. This is followed by an elegant wine with some underlying structure. Smoothly textured with silky tannins, intense flavors, and a lengthy, pure finish, this stylish wine will evolve for 1-2 years and drink well through 2015. It is a superb value.
