Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2009 Shiraz offers notes of warm plums, blackberry tart and cherry compote on the nose with touches of baking spices and tar. Medium-bodied, it gives just enough warm plum and cherry preserve flavors in the mouth with a medium level of rounded tannins, refreshing acidity and a medium-long finish.
