The 2012 Condrieu is a classic effort that gives up exotic fruits, white peach, apricot and citrus to go with a medium-bodied, clean and pure palate feel. Showing the richness of the variety in its texture, the overall impression here is one of purity and freshness.
In addition to producing some of the best Gigondas out there, superstar winemaker Louis Barruol makes some fine Northern Rhones as well.
