A 60,000-bottle production closed in a screw-cap bottle, the Brigaldara 2020 Valpolicella is a very bright and simple wine with easy cherry and plum. The wine builds its medium intensity and mouthfeel around the primary fruit, and thankfully there is enough of that to pair with pizza or a simple pasta with tomato sauce and grated Parmigiano. If you are looking for simplicity and purity, you can't go wrong here. The blend is 55% Corvina, 25% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella, and winemaking is completed in stainless steel only.
